William H. Hannon Foundation Grants to Help Most Vulnerable

The William H. Hannon Foundation announced a set of grants to local nonprofit organizations, helping bolster their operations and provide services to those in need throughout Southern California. The 17 grants – totaling $125,000 – will support a variety of initiatives, including dental care for low-income children, gang prevention programs, and crisis shelters to improving emergency rescue response.

The grants provided by the William H. Hannon Foundation will go to the following organizations – many of which have received support from the foundation for many years:

  • Angel Flight West

  • Covenant House California

  • CRJW

  • Good Shepherd Center

  • Good Shepherd Shelter

  • Ignatians West

  • Lay Mission Helpers

  • Making the Right Connections, Inc.

  • Marycrest Manor

  • Search Dog Foundation

  • Sisters of Social Service

  • SOAR

  • South Bay Children’s Health Center

  • St. Francis Center

  • Valley Family Center

  • Venice Family Clinic

  • Westchester Rotary Foundation

“We’re proud to support these nonprofit organizations that are the heartbeat of our community and are addressing some of our region’s most pressing problems – homelessness, food insecurity, and expensive medical care,” said Kathleen Hannon Aikenhead, President of the William H. Hannon Foundation. “Their work is crucial, and we encourage everyone to join us in supporting these impressive nonprofits.”
